The air is unstable lately but great in the mornings. Can't wait for the trades and tropical inversion to return.

From The Pilot: Kona Whale Watching Update

Saw more than a dozen Humpback Whales This morning!  Many were jumping and tail slapping.  Two were mothers with small to medium sized calfs.  Lots of great pics for the passengers.  The surf is also up with huge shore breaks and the Mountains of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa have lots of snow as well!  Lots to see!
